20 types of chili and beer to wet your whistle on a Sunday afternoon!
Our 15 amateur Fishtown contestants will be joined by entries from Sketch Burger, East Girard Gastropub, The Pickled Heron, Interstate Drafthouse, Frankford Hall, Brindle Cafe, Loco Pez, Murph’s, Barcade & Soup Kitchen Cafe!
Beer generously provided by Philadelphia Brewing Company & St. Benjamin’s Brewing, yummy bread provided by Fishtown’s own Metropolitan Bakery
Come and cast your vote for the best people’s choice, while Drew Lazor (Citypaper Meal Ticket), State Rep Mike O-Brien (175th District), and Joy Manning (oysterevangelist.com & former food critic at Philly Mag) pick our professional winner.
Admission is $15, tickets can be purchased in advance (below via Paypal) or at the door.
FNA pint glasses are available with advance purchase for only $3! A $10 ‘chili-only’ admission will be available at the door.
Please bring printout of paypal receipt on the day of the event for admission.
Update: Proceeds from the event will underwrite the formation of the new RiverWards CrimeWatch and the Fishtown Neighbors Association programming. Through a new partnership between FNA, FACT, EKNA, ORCA and AOH 51, RiverWards CrimeWatch strives to empower residents towards creating a safer neighborhood.
