Beginning June 4th, SEPTA will discontinue Rt 15 service between Girard Ave and Westmoreland St to accomodate reconstruction of the Girard Ave bridge. Shuttle buses will be available at Front and Girard to take passengers to the end of the line for approximately two years. Rt 43 will also experience a small detour described below.
Detour Fact Sheet Route 15
Westbound: Via Richmond Street, bus will make a right onto Huntingdon
Street then will make a left onto Aramingo Avenue. The bus will then make a right
onto Girard Avenue and will resume the regular route.
Route 43
Westbound: Via Cumberland Street, bus will make a left onto Richmond
Street then will make a left onto Huntingdon Street with another left turn onto
Aramingo Avenue. The bus will follow signs to Delaware Avenue and will resume
the regular route.
Added stops on Huntingdon Street:
Route 43 will make stop once it makes left onto Huntingdon Street
Routes 15 and 43 will stop at Huntingdon and Edgemont Streets
Routes 15 and 43 will stop at Huntingdon and Thompson Streets
Added Stops on Aramingo Avenue:
Routes 15 and 43 will stop at Cumberland Street and Aramingo Avenue.
