Please join the FNA for our September General Membership meeting, Thursday Sept 20th at 7 PM. Meetings are held at the Fishtown Rec Center, 1202 E. Montgomery Ave (entrance across from the basketball courts). Drinks, snacks & chatting starts at 630 PM.
Can you believe the NKCDC Sustainable 19125 Green Guide program is 3 years old already? Green Guides volunteer to provide their blocks with free sustainability tools, such as street trees, recycling bins, and rain barrels, and keep them informed about upcoming sustainability-related events, including electronics recycling drives and neighborhood clean-ups. Ariel Diliberto will join us to introduce the program, talk new initiatives and recruit new guides.
Do you wonder every time you pass Lutheran Settlement House building at Frankford and Master, “Hey, what goes on there?” Have you recently been at a Pop Up Food Truck Event but don’t understand why they are fundraising? LSH’s Arianna Hall-Reinhard will fill you in on their current programming and opportunities for community involvment.
